Extreme itching/pain after bikini wax?
Sorry for the oversharing, but I want to narrow down my possible problem as much as I can before heading into the doctor. I got a brazilian bikini wax last week, and ever since, I've had a progressively worsening itch on my girl bits. It started out as a red, itchy patch on the front, inside part of the labia minora, but- as the itching has gotten worse- it has "spread" to all the inner bits, along the inner majora, from the anus forwards. Nothing on the normal skin on the outside of the vagina- yet- hurts, but what does hurt is getting extremely painful. It's just reddish- with no bumps or anything else going on down there, and is only on the inner skin of the vulva, but it is on all of it.

Great question! And yes, I do believe that people would form different opinions on two different shaped women dressed the same. A woman with no curves probably wouldn't even be noticed, but a woman with curves and large breasts would probably be looked down upon for wearing something low cut or provocative. Personally, I say, to each his own, dress how you want! I think we should all take a good look in the mirror before we walk out the door and we should all wear clothing that fits us, but I wouldn't base an opinion of someone's lifestyle on their choices of clothing.

Never had it done! My friend says they give you paper knickers to wear, and they put a cream on first to numb the sensation. No. I went to Ole Miss, which is a perennial member of the top 5 party schools list. While there is a whole women's studies institute on campus, the Sarah Isom Center (named for the first woman to ever be a faculty member at a major Southern university) and they're always doing something and occasionally make big news, feminist activity on campus was really pretty unnoticeable for the most part. There were a few feminists around complaining about something or other but not usually much more than that.

Then again it should be pointed out this is a very conservative university by state-run university standards. While you can certainly see the liberal students who want to change all of society to their utopian view they're much less common than at many other large universities. So perhaps this was the exception to the rule but it does show it's not always the case.
