ask your mother to get a uk lawyer and to protect your images rights, although your mother will not purchase the photo , she does have some rigth to have the photographer to destroy the negatives and all printed images you have taken by the photography , because you don't want the photographer to have your image even though , your mother is not going to pay.....there other factors for instant if you were a public figure or dignitary she or he would have no chioce but too......working class , is complicated...your mother does not want to purchase the photos, the photographer more than likely will not give them to your mother .....because she won't pay for his work......and need to look at any contract you sign with him.......because this is how the judge will base a decision.....as well as your behavior in all of this....sadly your mother might have to buy the photos any way , because she would not want her daughter image used illegally......that would be explioting in america law......if you don't buy the photos they would keep the photos for a propose to sell his work... but what if you win the pagent ,he could exploit illegally off your images, which would cause problems in the future if you become more famous , you really need to protect yourself when you should win the pagent, really read all documents that you will be giving ......why take photos when your mother will not pay for them... you have time to find another way to have your photos taking

Job interview thank you/follow up letter?
I would like some feedback on writing a follow up/thank you letter from a job interview I had last friday 4/1/11
It was a short interview (for a social work job) and when I get nervous I tend to talk alot, so many things I wished I could have said, I didn't get a chance to.
Below are 2 versions of letters..
\any thoughts, or perhaps re-writes, edits.
Thanks. I want to send it out tonight or ealry tomorrow as they said they were making teh decision Mon or Tues

I would just like to extend my gratitude for your time and consideration at
our interview Friday.

Version 1)
Dear XXXX,
Although I have been sifting through the job market recently a bit, the
positions we discussed at XXX appear most promising and concurrent with my
skills and priorities. I retain my interest in the positions in the same
order I expressed Friday: MCM Team Leader, MCM Therapist and Clinical
Director.

When I interview candidates I always like to make sure they are well
rounded, and try to get a picture of how they may fit into our team and
agency culture. Due to time constraints, I did not have time to convey a bit
more about myself.

I have lived in XXXX for over 13 years. I am active in various
volunteer activities, love to swim and hike, (I was on my college swim
team). I am in love with my two geriatric dogs and as I said, am a mother of
a teen getting ready to go off to college. I enjoy very much speaking
Spanish and traveling to Spanish speaking countries with various family
members,(esp. my son), though am a little rusty as have not been speaking
much these days. I am devoted to my family, have a wonderful support system
of family and friends, love to cook, read, and watch Law and Order. I have
many "back shelf" interests which I hope to be able to endeavor into with
more free time. For example; would love to work within and develop programs
for Hispanics in whatever area I was working within, either as part of a
job, or as part of my continued volunteer work.

Some of my personal goals right now are mixed with my professional goals: to
get my SA licensure, to take more business and advanced language classes and
to continue with my clinical training.

Thank you again,

DXXXXXX

2nd version:
Dear XXXXX,

I want to thank you and the other members of the team that took their time with me during my interview.

I have been thinking about it since we last spoke, discussed it with several colleagues, my prior and present clinical supervisors, several friends in the field and feel very strongly that the MCM Team Leader position would be a good fit for me. I wanted to express my retained interest in this position as well as my continued interest in the MCM Therapist position. I am still interested as well in the Clinic Director position as well, as my third choice, but by no means is this due to it being a bad fit for me. It is just that the MCM positions seem so very very interesting.

I did feel that I may have misrepresented myself as overly ambitious, and may not have given you a holistic picture of myself as a person, perhaps due to time constraints, or perhaps to a bit of the “job interview nervous” factor. When I interview candidates I always like to make sure they are well rounded and mentally healthy and try to get a picture of how they may fit into our team and agency culture.

A little about myself: I have lived in the XXXXX area for over 13 years, am active in various volunteer activities, I love to swim and hike, (I was on my college swim team). I am in love with my two insane geriatric dogs and as I said, am a mother of a teen getting ready to go off to college. I enjoy very much speaking Spanish and traveling to Spanish speaking countries with various family members,(esp. my son), though am a little rusty as have not been speaking much these days. I am devoted to my family, have a wonderful support system of family and friends, love to cook, read, watch Law and Order…
Some of my personal goals right now are mixed with my professional goals: to get my SA licensure, to take more business classes and to continue with my clinical training. I am especially interested in continuing with MI training and taking any and all classes available.

Thank you again
DXXXX
If you do decide to send this letter, send version two, but scratch the second paragraph, which is assuming what they thought (overly ambitious), which may be pretty far off base, but give them ideas just the same. And scratch the whole "when I interview candidates" because it's supercilious and irritating. In paragraph three, scratch the word "insane." Maybe people are insanely sensitive to that word, and others are sensitive to you calling the dogs insane. You should probably skip the phrase "devoted to my family." They would prefer you to be devoted to your job.

Actually, scratch all of paragraph two and all of paragraph three up to "some of my personal goals."

If they had wanted to know more about you, they would have asked.
:)What is The Best Sims 2 Expansion Pack ? and What is the Worst?
:) I have the Sims 2 Festive edition and The Sims 2 :) xxx What shall i get now? Freetime and Seasons look kwl :) but what should i get for Christmas now ? I cant get all now, so what shall i get first!

Games:
Sims 2 Festive edition (I have got it)
Sims 2 Nightlife ( I have got it)
Sims 2 University
Sims 2 Open for Business
Sims 2 Pets
Sims 2 Seasons
Sims 2 Bon Voyage
Sims 2 Free Time
Sims 2 Apartment Life

&

Sims 2 Mansion and Garden Stuff
Sims 2 Ikea Home Stuff
Sims 2 Kitchen and Bath Home stuff
Sims 2 Teen Style stuff pack
Sims 2 H&M Fashion Stuff
Sims 2 Celebration Stuff Pack
Sims 2 Glamour Life Stuff
Sims 2 Happy Holiday Stuff
Sims 2 Family Fun Stuff pack
When it comes to the expansions, "best" and "worst" really are subjective, as the EP that one person loves the most will be the same one another person hates the most. So really, it all comes down to what you're looking for.

University obviously introduces college and the Young Adult stage of life for Sims. Sims who go to college develop skills associated with their major, which in turn help them off upon graduation, as Sims start careers two levels below that which they are qualified with skills (up to Level 6). So if a Sim has the skills required for the Level 5 job in a given career path, they'll start at Level 3, rather than Level 1, and that means less having to eek out a living day to day. University also adds four careers (Art, Show Business, Paranormal, and Natural Science (think biology, and the top career job is as an Ecological Guru)). In addition to that, University also adds cellphones, mp3 players, and hand-held gaming devices. I love the cell phones and mp3 players so much that upon turning to teens, EVERY one of my Sims gets one. The mp3 players are great for boosting a Sims' fun quickly, and the cell phones mean you can call Sims from community lots, and better yet, whole households aren't bothered (woken up) when someone calls for one particular Sim (only their cell phone rings, and it also doesn't wake anyone up).

Open for Business allows Sims to own their own businesses. It can be a real challenge, but at the same time, very rewarding for the entire neighborhood. As Sims get better at managing their businesses, they gain perks. Most are business related, including a reduced cost to wholesale prices. That in turn means you can sell really expensive items at reduced costs from Buy Mode, while still turning a profit. That means Sims can purchase the same computer, but save enough money to buy a desk and chair for it too (just one example). OFB also adds stages, which are foundations that can be placed indoors (and on top of existing foundations), so you can have a raised dining area, or stairs with a landing, producing an L-shape. The ability to lock doors also is added, and oh how that is nice. :) Talent badges are also introduced, and are like skills, but more specialized. For instance, one is Toy Making, and well.... it allows Sims to make certain toys (like kites, fire trucks, and a water sprinkler). Not as useful for chores around the house, or in a Sims' career, but if they own/work at another Sims' toy store, it greatly improves the shop. The other talent badges are Robotics, Cosmetology, Flower Arranging, Restocking, Register, and Sales (the last three being universal business skills).

Pets, as the name suggests, adds pets to the game. Unfortunately, that's about all it does. Sure, it's fun having pets, but it really doesn't expand the game that much.

Seasons obviously adds weather/the seasons. This is great, but it also is a system resource hog. If TS2 runs slow without Seasons, it'll run REALLY slow with. That said, Seasons adds five new careers (Adventure (think Indiana Jones), Education, Gamer, Journalism, and Law). Seasons also adds two more talent badges; for fishing and gardening. Both provide a certain level of fun for your Sims, but also provide food. That means Sims can grow/catch food rather than having to buy groceries (or at least not as much). This also allows Sims to prepare new meals with those fish they caught. Perhaps my favorite element of Seasons though is the introduction of leftovers! :D No longer do you have to make a group meal for eight to feed a family of three or four, thus wasting most of it. Now you can put those leftovers in the refrigerator, and eat them later. In addition to all that, Seasons also adds a new clothing class (Outdoor, as Sims want to bundle up so they don't freeze when going outside in the winter), as well as the ability to set particular appearances with certain outfits. Want your female Sim to wear her hair up while sleeping, in a pony tail while exercising, down for every day, and with a tiara with formal wear? Now that's possible without you having to change her appearance every time. :)

Bon Voyage mainly lets your Sims go on vacations. And with one of the three vacations being an island destination, a new type of lot is introduced that can be used in your neighborhood: the beach-front lot. Lots of new interactions are added, including gestures Sims can learn while on vacations, digging for treasures in any open patch of ground (including the Sims' front or back yard), special location dances, and massages. Sims can also take pictures with pocket cameras, and then order a picture album from the computer. One big addition to the game with BV is buyable jewelery. Sims can purchase earrings, rings, necklaces, and bracelets to go along with their outfits.
Your views on Teenage Pregnancy?
Teenage pregnancy. What are your views?

Do you agree or disagree that that teenagers become pregnant just to get a free council house?

What do you think the reason is? Has anyone had a guy in their teens.

Please don't flame me. Im neither for nor against. (: I just want to find out others opinions. (:

xxx
A teen pregnancy is a difficult situation. I have 2 boys and 2 girls -- all guys raised the same, all different personalities. The girls: 1 waited, got married and after 2 years got pregnant. The other got pregnant at 16 :( It hurt me, but it happened and it then became a responsibility. She married the Dad and to this day only has the one guy. It was difficult and trying for her because she was too young. She admits that now, too. But she was taught to be responsible to this person she put on this earth. We were lucky in the fact that it calmed her down, she met her responsibility and he's the most special little boy. But she wasn't rewarded with any free housing. She had to finish school, get a job, and be a responsible adult. Rewarding teen pregnancy is not the answer.
